Barbara Ferro’s comment
“I am very grateful for the trust that the Shareholders and the members of the Veronafiere Board of Directors have placed in me, providing me with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a strategic reality on the national scene and, first and foremost, in my city, ” says Barbara Ferro, Veronafiere ‘s new managing director. ” The ability of an exhibition operator to create value is measured not only by its profitability, but above all by the positive impact generated on those whom, with the vocabulary of sustainability, we would define as ‘stakeholders. Starting with the exhibiting companies, visitors, suppliers, collaborators, citizens and all economic, social and cultural players in the area. That is why I take on this task with great passion and motivation. The physical and demographic geographies of the world, the economic and financial geometries of which we have come to know the rules are changing faster than we had perhaps thought, sometimes generating bewilderment and a sense of helplessness. I believe that in this context, the fair as a place where people meet, get to know each other, exchange views and shake hands summarizes a central role, to face complex scenarios without fear. At the same time, it is important to identify unconventional responses and new opportunities. I am confident that the team that has been formed, heterogeneous in terms of skills and experience, will be able to embark on this path of innovation.”
