70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara, 5% Croatina. One year in barrique then two years in 20- and 30-hl barrels. Impenetrable ruby. Clean, elegant nose with sweet notes of roasted nuts. Tobacco leaf and tonka bean. Salty and long, the final astringency is thick and persistent but well balanced.
