Valdarno di Sopra Day 2026: presentation of the new vintages of Valdarno di Sopra DOC, between territorial identity and sustainable viticulture.

On February 20, 2026, Valdarno di Sopra Day returns, an annual event reserved for the press dedicated to the presentation and tasting of the new vintages of Valdarno di Sopra DOC. The event will take place at theBorro Amphitheater, in the heart of the province of Arezzo, offering journalists a full immersion in one of the most interesting and dynamic territories of Tuscan viticulture.

Valdarno di Sopra DOC

Valdarno di Sopra DOC is a young appellation, officially recognized in 2011, but with deep roots in Tuscany’s winemaking history. The vineyards stretch along the course of the Arno River in the triangle between Florence, Siena and Arezzo, an area that has been devoted to grape growing for centuries.

The appellation is distinguished by a strong territorial identity and a shared production vision based on respect for the environment and the enhancement of native grape varieties. The producers of the Consorzio di Tutela Valdarno di Sopra DOC have voluntarily and collectively chosen to adopt the organic dimension as a guiding principle, placing the territory at the center of every agronomic and oenological decision.

Valdarno di Sopra Day 2026

Valdarno di Sopra Day represents a moment of direct confrontation between producers and specialized press, designed to delve into the style, evolution and expressive potential of the denomination’s wines. The format of the event privileges tasting and in-depth analysis, in a cosy and highly professional setting.

The experience begins the evening before with the arrival of guests to the area and continues with a day entirely dedicated to tasting Valdarno di Sopra DOC wines, offering a comprehensive overview of the new vintages being released.

Friday, February 19, 2026:

• 6 p.m. – Bus departure from Florence
• 8 p.m. – Arrival at the hotel in the Upper Valdarno and guest registration
• 9 p.m. – Dinner Valdarno di Sopra

Friday, February 20, 2026:

• 8:30 a.m. – Bus departure from the hotel
• 9 a.m. – Arrival at the Borro Amphitheater and guest registration
• 9:30 a.m. – Wine tasting Valdarno di Sopra
• 1:30 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. – Light lunch
• 2:30 p.m. / 5:30 p.m. – Wine tasting Valdarno di Sopra
• 6 p.m. – Bus departure for Florence
