Excellent, regular vintage; slightly early harvest.
80% Sangiovese, 20% between Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino. Matures in barrels 18-24 months.
Bright garnet color, looks much younger. Intense bouquet that still retains the fruit to enrich with balsamic notes, underbrush, earthy memories and a hint of umami. The palate is elegant and fresh, with vigorous but refined tannins, balanced development and a fresh, long licorice finish.
