Grottaglie – Natural Evolution

Evoluzione Naturale – The Earth at the Center of Man’s True Life, the benchmark event in southern Italy dedicated to natural wine, Jan. 26 and 27 in Grottaglie (Taranto)
Evoluzione Naturale is an unmissable event to discover new artisanal realities, dialogue directly with producers and immerse yourself in a journey of authentic flavors, culture and sustainability. Hundreds of labels being tasted from all over Italy and Europe, with tasting tables workshops and tastings make it the benchmark event in southern Italy dedicated to natural wine.
Natural Evolution is a project that aims to bring a wide audience closer to the topic of “change,” which in all its meanings is today fundamental for humans, their well-being and survival. At a time when the challenge to climate change and its many implications is the order of the day, the only way forward is the rediscovery of harmony with nature, the quest for unavoidable sustainability. Quietly, this rediscovery has already begun, and man, in a natural evolution, is taking those measures that, from the primary sector to the tertiary sector, via industry, represent a readjustment of ancient knowledge and methods to bring the Earth back to the center of man’s true life. It is with this in mind that “Natural Evolution – The Earth at the Center of Man’s True Life” is held in Grottaglie, Apulia, every January. Theevent presents a rich program of activities focused on artisanal wine production, a still little-known reality that is attracting more and more interest. Each year about 60 winemakers are selected from Italy and all over Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Austria and other countries) according to strict criteria that respect the sustainability of the entire production chain. They will also enrich the event with thematic workshops and tasting laboratories to delve into the latest trends in the sector.
