La Vieste en Rose

Vieste en Rose 2025 is the event that inaugurates the Gargano town’s summer. The appointment is for June 1, 2025 with tastings of rosé wines from Puglia and from all over Italy, art, music and entertainment.

La Vieste en Rose in brief

Over 200 wineries, not only from Puglia but also from Italy and internationally. This is the beating heart of the sixth edition of the La Vieste en Rose, the festival that, from May 29 to June 1, will transform the historic center of Vieste into an enchanted path among the thousand shades of the rosé wine. An experience to be lived with all the senses, among tales of vineyards, music, art and authentic flavors. In the charming setting of the seaside village, the city will be dressed in pink: every corner of the historic center will come alive with themed displays, soft lighting, tastings and meetings that mix the pleasure of wine with the discovery of those who produce it, tell about it and love it.

At the tasting tables, excellence from the Puglia, from all over Italy and the rest of the world, such as. France, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Slovakia. A mosaic of cultures that will give visitors an extraordinary wine panorama, projecting the event among the reference events of the national food and wine scene.

Vieste en Rose is much more than a wine festival: it is a journey through excellence and small great discoveries, in which every glass becomes a story to be listened to.

Over the years it has become an absolute reference point for the area, acquiring a national and international dimension, finding such valuable shores as ICE (Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies) and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the world’s top wine competition dedicated to wines. “Vieste is once again confirmed as the capital of wine and food tourism, offering all visitors an unmissable opportunity to experience our territory in an authentic and engaging way,” explained Graziamaria Starace, Councillor for Tourism of the Municipality of Vieste.

And while the wine tells, the music accompanies: between street artists, live concerts and traveling performances, each evening will become a widespread party, culminating in the grand final celebration with music and dancing under the stars.

Along with wine, taste will also be the protagonist: thanks to the involvement of restaurant businesses in the historic center, which will present themed menus, proposing typical local products, the perfect combination of rosé and food will be practically guaranteed. Not to mention the presence of producers from the Slow Food circuit, for a gastronomic itinerary that celebrates the best of Made in Italy.

But that’s not all: accompanying the tastings is a jam-packed program of masterclasses, seminars and talks, led by more than fifty technicians, oenologists, and international wine and food journalists, to discover up close the characteristics, potential and wonders of rosé wine.

“It’s been about 20 years that the growth of rosé wine consumption is remarkable, and these events make its nuances fully known,” told Enzo Scivetti, a consultant, lecturer and trainer in wine, spirits, cigars, catering and hotels.

For Massimo Di Cintio, food and wine journalist, “rosé wine is growing strongly, it is entering people’s hearts also thanks to its versatility. Consumption is increasing, its consideration is increasing, and this is an opportunity to enjoy it to the full in a very beautiful setting such as Vieste.”
