Milan Wine Week 2026

October 17 - October 25

Milan Wine Week 2026: From October 17 to 25, wine takes center stage in the city once again with tastings, masterclasses, events, and experiences throughout the city

From October 17 to 25, 2026, Milano Wine Week returns to Milan, an event that takes wine beyond traditional trade show settings to transform the city into a vast, citywide journey of tastings, events, and experiences.

The format brings together companies, local communities, professionals, enthusiasts, and new audiences through events held at various locations throughout the city. The stated goal for 2026 is to showcase wine through contemporary forms of expression and ways of experiencing it, while also engaging those who are curious about the world of wine.

The MWW Wine Bar

The Milan Wine Week Enoteca will once again be one of the highlights of the event in 2026. The tasting area will be open to the public for all nine days of the event.

Here, you’ll be able to discover hundreds of wines from wineries across Italy, including white, red, and rosé wines, as well as still and sparkling wines. The tasting will be organized using a card that allows you to customize your own tasting journey, with the assistance of certified sommeliers and WineEmotion automated pouring systems.

However, the Enoteca won’t just be a place for tastings: the program also includes events where visitors can meet producers and experts, as well as opportunities for in-depth exploration.

Wine-Filled Milan

Milan Wine Week will also involve numerous bars, wine shops, restaurants, and stores throughout the city, which are invited to offer wine-themed activities and events throughout the week.

This format allows visitors to experience the event as they explore the city. Everyone can create their own itinerary, taking in tastings, events, and activities in the various neighborhoods and participating venues. The calendar of events in the city is updated regularly on the official website.

Masterclasses, Experiences, and Events

In addition to tastings, MWW 2026 will feature masterclasses, immersive events, meetings, and in-depth activities aimed at both enthusiasts and industry professionals.

The full schedule of masterclasses is currently being updated on the event’s official page.

The International Project

The event’s professional and international scope will also be enhanced through the Incoming project supported by ICE – Agenzia, which will bring a delegation of international buyers, sommeliers, and opinion leaders to Milan.

The initiative aims to facilitate the connection between Italian wine and international markets, strengthening the business component of Milan Wine Week alongside its public-facing aspect.

The MWW Awards

Among this week’s events, the MWW Awards will also return—awards dedicated to recognizing the quality of wine selections in the restaurant and retail sectors.

Several categories are planned for 2026. These include the Carte Vini Italia Award, the Wine Retail Italia Award, and the Best Italian Wine Selection, dedicated to the best selections of Italian wine abroad. A new category has also been announced: the Wine Communication Award, dedicated to those who excel in communication and storytelling within the wine sector, with a particular focus on the digital and social media spheres.
