Barolo at Palazzo Barolo – IV edition: a day of tastings with the producers of the Strada del Barolo in the heart of the Savoy city

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the producers of Strada del Barolo will offer the public of wine lovers in Turin a high-level tasting at the elegant halls on the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Barolo, which was the residence of the last Marquises of Barolo, Carlo Tancredi Falletti and Giulia Colbert, to whose foresight and modernity much of the fame and fortune of Barolo wine is due. Participants will be guided on a journey to discover the “King of Wines”: Barolo, which the producers of the Strada del Barolo will present in person in its many facets, offering different crus and vintages for tasting. The tastings will be accompanied by small samples of excellent food and agricultural products presented by companies associated with the Strada del Barolo and great wines of Langa.

Program

The free tasting will be organized in two rounds. The two sessions will be preceded by two tasting lounges (at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.) that will feature producers who will address issues related to the history and relevance of Barolo and offer a particularly representative wine from their wineries that is not featured in the main tasting. Leading the salons will be Francesco Quarna, a DJ and winemaker, passionate about viticulture and food and wine, who hosts the podcast “Deejay Wine Club” and “Summer Camp” live on Radio Deejay.

  2:30-3:30 p.m.: salon-tasting conducted by Francesco Quarna
  3:30-6 p.m.: tasting “Barolo at Palazzo Barolo”
• Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 – Second Round
  6-7 p.m.: salon-tasting conducted by Francesco Quarna
  7-9:30 p.m.: tasting “Barolo at Palazzo Barolo”

It will be possible to purchase the pre-sale ticket online or on site (while availability lasts) and allows you to taste wines from all the producers present with no limit to the number of tastings. To also participate in the tasting salons, there is an integrated event + salon ticket on online presale. Each participant will receive a glass to take home as a souvenir of the evening.
