100% Pinot noir. Fermentation between steel and barrique, where it then rests for 12 months. Transparent and lively ruby. Elegant in combining pungent currant and sour cherry notes on the nose with more mouthwatering perceptions of cocoa, sweet tobacco and carob. A “wild,” vegetal and balsamic undertone frames the whole, amid visions of ivy, mint, humus and leather, before also giving way to blood orange, dark spices and dried mint. In the mouth it is silky and smooth yet sharp and dynamic; the finish is dry, deep, balanced and warm, with the decisive savory trail inviting new sips.
