Tenuta San Guido

DESCRIPTION
It is right next to the cypress trees “che van da San Guido in duplice filar,” as Carducci wrote. Everyone knows it as Sassicaia, which is the name of the landmark wine, a true icon of Italian vitienology, as well as that of one of the estates’ estates itself. Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, a Piedmontese nobleman transplanted to Tuscany, invented this wine; his son Nicolò, continuing his work, launched the Bolgheri area into the world firmament. Now it is the turn of young Priscilla, who joins her father in running the winery.
