100% Sangiovese. Ruby with garnet nail. Multifaceted aromas, notes of herbs, bay leaves and myrtle on a spicy background. Then iron notes, underbrush, spicy puffs and a floral fragrance that veers toward jammy fruit and, on subsequent olfaction, into almost medicinal hints. A vibrant synergy of silky tannins and pronounced acid shoulder opens in the mouth. Closes long with fruity and floral returns of morello cherry and violet.
