We have now reached the 10 most recent vintages of San Leonardo, with 2018 coming out on March 21. To celebrate the 30th vintage, Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga and his wife Ilaria Tronchetti Provera launched the Arte a San Leonardo project.

Last March 1, during an evening at Palazzo Taverna in Rome (where we had done our vertical), the Arte a San Leonardo project was presented, an idea that stems from the desire of Anselmo and Ilaria Guerrieri Gonzaga to correlate the history and identity of the Trentino estate with the languages of contemporary art and the gaze of artists.

The Art in San Leonardo project

Simone Berti is the artist involved in this first edition who-after staying at San Leonardo at various times in 2022-has created an Artist’s Book in 120 numbered copies entitled “Waiting is not wasted time,” a definition that perfectly captures the essence of San Leonardo. Along with the book, Berti signs for the 2018 vintage theArtist Label, which dresses 999 numbered bottles, 600 of which will make up 200 lots in wooden boxes of 3.
