San Leonardo

It almost seems as if the gentility, the kindness in manners, the ancient courtesy of Carlo and Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga end up, who knows how, in their wines. There must be magic in San Leonardo, a place of endless history, which once marked, on the Habsburg side, the border with the Republic of Venice and, therefore, with Italy. Carlo, who knows a lot about history with his name, tends to downplay it, as he is surprised when told that his wines are extraordinary. And the same aristocratic gentility is found in his son Anselmo.
