Top Wine 2025

Top Wine 2025: The highest food and wine event in the world celebrates 25 years: The tasting “One step away from heaven” returns to the top of Sass Pordoi
Top Wine 2025: More than twenty wineries from Trentino Alto Adige and selected labels from Irpinia, Sicily and France. Cantina Terlano protagonist of the masterclass. The event organized on October 17 and 18 by the Società Incremento Turistico Canazei SpA.
The event that combines the charm of the Dolomites with the excellence of wine is back. The Top Wine 2950 Symposium, in its 25th edition, will be staged on October 17 and 18 at Rifugio Maria, on the summit of Sass Pordoi. At nearly three thousand meters above sea level, nearly twenty wineries from Trentino-Alto Adige will meet selected labels from Irpinia, Sicily and France for the world’s highest wine and food tasting.
“Top Wine is not just a tasting at high altitude, but an opportunity for wine excellences to dialogue with wine lovers, in the extraordinary setting of the Dolomites-explains Christian Rabensteiner of the Società Incremento Turistico Canazei SpA. In twenty-five years it has grown to become an event capable of attracting wine lovers from all over Italy and abroad, strengthening the image of our territory as a place of culture, hospitality and quality.”
“Tasting a wine at almost three thousand meters is a unique experience,” explains sommelier Roberto Anesi. “At that altitude our body has to adapt and even the wine initially seems more timid, only to reveal new, more subtle and elegant nuances. It is a context that invites us to slow down, observe the landscape and taste with greater awareness.”
