It used to be Vadiaperti, the name has changed, but the management and responsibility for the vineyards and winery is still in the hands of Raffaele Troisi, a visionary and talented producer. We are in Montefredane, an immense cru for Fiano di Avellino, but where, inscrutably, other truly amazing whites also spring up every now and then, as the Masters of Wine put it.
