Boccella Rosa

In Montemarano, in upper Irpinia, 600 meters above sea level, the Boccella Rosa winery is run by the Molettieri brothers, Luigi and Soccorso, who, on soils consisting of clay marl and limestone, have been raising Aglianico vines under organic management since the 1970s. A young company with its feet firmly in the ground, where the two brothers personally take care of the vineyards and winery under the supervision of winemaker Carmine Valentino. Also of note is the extra virgin olive oil from centuries-old trees surrounding the winery.
