Vicenza – ViWine Festival 2026

October 2 - October 4

ViWine Festival 2026: From October 2 to 4, wine returns to the heart of Vicenza with three days of tastings, events, experiences, and culinary delights

Wine Meets the City

From October 2 to 4, 2026, the ViWine Festival returns to Vicenza for its seventh edition. The event takes place primarily in Piazza dei Signori, in the city’s historic center, with a program that combines wine tastings with meetings with producers, cultural events, culinary offerings, and entertainment.

For the 2026 edition, the festival announces the participation of over 40 wineries and more than 200 wine labels, with a selection that includes wines from various regions. Admission to the square is free, but to participate in the tasting tour, you must purchase the corresponding package, which includes a wine glass and tokens for the tastings.

Wine Tastings and Meet-and-Greets with Producers

The heart of ViWine remains the tour of the wineries, designed to allow the public to learn about wines, regions, and labels through direct interaction with the producers.

The 2026 format therefore maintains the distinction between free admission to the event and the paid tasting route. The wine is accompanied by a selection of food items that can be purchased directly from the food exhibitors.

In addition to the wine tasting in the square, this year the festival is expanding its offerings with new experiences that connect wine with culture, art, movement, and an appreciation of the city.

The New “Experiences”

Among the events already announced are two masterclasses dedicated to wines from the Vicenza region: the first, focused on Vespaiola di Breganze, is scheduled for Saturday, October 3; the second, dedicated to Garganega and Durella and their relationship with volcanic soils, is scheduled for Sunday, October 4.

The program also includes “Ceramichine,” an experience that combines ceramic painting with wine tasting, and “Wine Pilates,” an activity that alternates Pilates exercises with wine tasting sessions.

Particularly interesting for its exploration of the relationship between wine and the city’s heritage is the cultural tour “Vicenza in a Glass, organized in collaboration with the La Vigna International Library and the Vicenzaè Consortium: a guided tour that begins at the La Vigna Library and continues through the historic center, highlighting the history of wine and the cellars from Palladio’s time, and concludes in Piazza dei Signori with a wine tasting.

Fuori Festival

One of the new features of the 2026 edition is the Fuori Festival, held at Corte dei Bissari, where the program features not only wines but also spirits and music.

The festival thus maintains a concept that goes beyond a simple wine event, seeking to connect wine with life in the historic center and with various forms of experience and entertainment.
