The vintage is remembered as very good. Negroamaro 70%, Malvasia nera 10% and Montepulciano 20%. Matures in large chestnut barrels for at least 24 months. Deep garnet red, almost impenetrable. The olfactory impact is very intense with a complex bouquet of fruit and flowers, then distinct tertiary and balsamic notes emerge, declining toward tamarind and prune. Full and lively flavor, gangly tannins still a bit edgy. It is an old Jaguar.
