85% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot. It matures in woods of different capacities. Transparent garnet. The nose differs from other vintages in smoky, earthy, grilled tones. Just a hint of rosemary. Fuller than expected on tasting, ripe tannins, smooth sip, fairly balanced. Slightly contracted ending.
