DESCRIPTION

It is the winery that symbolizes Sicily’s wine redemption. It was founded in 1995, and from the very first moment at its helm were very young, then-entrepreneurs Alessio, Santi and Francesca Planeta, who immediately brought an extraordinarily effective wind of renewal. Today there are as many as five Planeta wineries, in different areas of Sicily: Menfi (Ulmo and Dispensa), Vittoria (Dorilli), Noto (Buonvini), Capo Milazzo (La Baronia) and on Etna (Feudo di Mezzo). Production has grown in proportion, but enthusiasm and passion remain, and many valuable wines.
