The 2025 season of Planeta hospitality has begun: the Foresteria Planeta Wine Resort e its Restaurant reopened their doors on Thursday, March 27, the Planeta Country House on Friday, April 11, while the beach club Insula will open on June 1.
The concept of widespread resort is born in Menfi., which represents a new way of hospitality: each space and each activity is part of a larger mosaic, where the‘guest can discover what this territory has to offer.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the history of Planeta wines by visiting the cellars of the estates of Ulmo, Cirami, Dispensa and Serra Ferdinandea, places of natural beauty. For family travelers, there is no shortage of outdoor activities for children and teens. Walks and bicycle routes to discover the hills that embrace Planeta Country House, which offers to end the day the ‘Chiama Vinu’, hors d’oeuvres and ancient side dishes from Planeta Country House, to be enjoyed in an experience of Food Sharing.

From June 1 to Sept. 30, in the heart of summer and on the Blue Flag beaches of Menfi for 28 years, the Planeta signature experience is enriched with the romantic Beach Club Insula, a corner of unspoiled nature where you can relax with the sound of the sea, indulge in a rejuvenating massage in the wellness area and finish at the table or lounge with your feet in the sand in the shade of poplars.

The wine list is inspired by the concept of Repertory 1694, a oenological archive which brings together the most representative vintages in Planeta’s history, recounting the evolution of its production vision. Repertory 1694 was born from the desire to interweaving wine and music, two art forms capable of evoking emotion and memory. Just as a musical repertoire preserves songs to be handed down, this selection of vintages celebrates time, the land and the oenological knowledge of Planeta. The name harks back to 1694, the year the family put down roots with the acquisition of Ulmo, the first of the estates. The list includes wines kept in the vault, witnesses of vintages and production choices that have marked their identity.
Another new feature of the 2025 season is the new Bar – Lounge area, which complements the restaurant as a space dedicated to relaxation and conviviality.

The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, with an exclusive dinner featuring Sara Aqel, chef of the restaurant Dara Dining in Amman, Jordan. Dara Dining was ranked 18th on the list of 50 Best Restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa in 2025., receiving the Highest New Entry. In addition, the Chef was recognized in 2022 in the “Women in F&B Power List” by Caterer Middle East.
