65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot from two hillside vineyards in the Fratta area. Fermentation in stainless steel. French oak barrels 80% new and 20% second passage for eighteen months. First vintage 1977.
Intense ruby with violet nail. Ripe and enveloping nose in which notes of black fruit, blackberries in primis, are alternated with hints of leather, herbs, bay leaves, rosemary. The sip is equally enveloping, sweet and round tannins, spicy and austere aftertaste.
