The editorial staff of DoctorWine extends its deepest sympathy to director Daniele Cernilli on the passing of his dear mother, Gioietta Spalla, who passed away at the age of 96.
Born April 3, 1930, the daughter of Erminio Spalla, Gioietta spanned nearly a century of life with discretion, strength and dignity. In July 2023 she had lost her husband, Alfredo Cernilli, to whom she had been bound by a long shared life.
To Daniele, Alessandra, Marina, Fabio and her entire family, we send our heartfelt condolences and the affectionate embrace of the editorial staff in this time of grief and remembrance.
The funeral will be held Saturday 30 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Circonvallazione Appia, 150 in Rome.
