The 25 new Knights of Labor 2026 were named today, among them Marina Cvetic, AD of Masciarelli winery.
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, signed the decrees by which, at the proposal of the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso in consultation with the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida, 25 Knights of Labor 2026 were appointed.
The Order of Merit for Labor is a high honor of the Italian Republic established in 1901. Conferred annually by the President of the Republic, it is dedicated to entrepreneurs and personalities who have distinguished themselves for their activity in the fields of agriculture, industry, commerce, crafts, credit and insurance.
The nomination for Marina Cvetic Masciarelli
The nomination recognizes the path entrepreneurial and human path of Marina Cvetic in the wine agriculture sector, as well as the role played in the international enhancement of Italian wine and Abruzzo.
Born in Belgrade and of Serbo-Croatian descent, Marina Cvetic has from the very beginning worked alongside her husband Gianni Masciarelli, founder of the company and a visionary figure in Italian wine contemporary. After his passing, he determinedly guided the growth of Masciarelli Tenute Agricole consolidating its presence in international markets and strengthening the identity of a project deeply linked to the territory, sustainability and wine culture.

“Receiving this honor represents for me a great honor and a deep emotion,” said Marina Cvetic. “This news comes in a particularly significant, in which we celebrate 35 years of the Marina Cvetic line. It is a recognition that I wish to share with my family, with all the people who work every day at our our side and with the Abruzzo region, which continues to inspire our commitment. This title also belongs to the vision of Gianni Masciarelli, who has believed since from the beginning in the extraordinary potential of Abruzzo wine in the world.”
