Our own Antonella Amodio has been awarded the Falerno “Gennaro Papa” Cultural Prize – 1st Edition, 2026. Award for Merit in the Journalism/Communication category.
Last Friday, October 23, the first edition of the Falerno Cultural Award was held, established by the Papa family of Falciano del Massico in honor of the winery’s founder, Gennaro Papa.
The award was created to honor his skills and foresight: in the late 1980s, when Falciano del Massico wine was going through one of its darkest periods, he decided to restore it to its former glory by undertaking crucial research on the century-old vineyards preserved by his family.
Wine and the vine are the product of a culture dating back thousands of years, and so the award could only go to those who have promoted the culture and knowledge of the Falerno del Massico DOC.
The “FALERNO CULTURAL AWARD” is divided into 3 categories
