We want to raise our glass to make a toast of gratitude with you. Le Milan and Rome tastings of the best Italian wines selected in the DoctorWine Guide 2026 were much more than an event: they were a sensory journey, collective embraces made of scents, emotions and passion.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who participated, accompanying the official presentation of the new Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy. The three days were a success thanks to the presence of producers, sommeliers, journalists, industry professionals and enthusiasts, who helped create an atmosphere of genuine sharing and love for wine. Together we celebrated the beauty of our country enclosed in a goblet.
Over six hundred labels from every region of the country told, goblet by goblet, the extraordinary richness and diversity of Italy’s wine heritage. Each wine a story: that of those who dreamed it, cultivated it and guarded it with dedication. From great reds to elegant bubbles, from the most fragrant whites to sweet wines, each tasting represented a journey through territories, stories and people.
Special thanks go to the producers, the true protagonists of these meetings, who with passion and dedication carry forward Italian wine excellence, and to the entire DoctorWine team of tasters, who with equal passion and expertise continues to give voice to the wines, territories and people that make them unique with great research and enhancement work. And of course to all those who made the organization of the events possible.
