In Oltrepò Pavese, fourteen wineries of the Distretto del Vino di Qualità are relaunching Bonarda with a collective project, reserved for producers with a closed supply chain and regulated by stricter parameters than DOC.
A project, not a label
#lamossaperfetta was born from a precise idea: to take away the Bonarda Frizzante dell’Oltrepò Pavese from the gray area of “easy” and low-priced wine and restore its identity, territorial dignity and recognizability. Hence the choice of a group of producers to systematize and restore order: define a style, set stricter rules, build a coherent narrative.
Not a wine, but an idea of wine.
Not a brand, but an association platform.
Making system: the association
The project is promoted by a group of companies united in the Oltrepò Pavese Quality Wine District.. This is not an organizational detail: it is a stance. Today there are fourteen producers involved, united by the idea that Bonarda, to be credible, must stop being fragmented and start talking to a recognizable voice. It can strengthen the overall image of Oltrepò Pavese, moreover, precisely if it is proposed as a collective heritage.
The companies remain autonomous, but recognize themselves within a common perimeter. The goal is not to standardize, but to give direction.

Closed supply chain as a prerequisite
This is not a project open to any bottler. One of the essential conditions for joining is to be closed supply chain producers: winemakers who grow their own grapes, make their own wine at home and bottle directly. No shortcuts.
It is an identity choice before a technical one. It means Total product responsibility and real connection to the land. In other words, the Bonarda that comes out of it is not just “made in Oltrepò”: it is thought of, cultivated, transformed and signed entirely there.
Stricter rules to restore value to Bonarda
The project is based on a production regulation that is more restrictive than the specifications for Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese Doc.. 100% Croatina, hillside grapes, lower yields, natural refermentation, stricter limits on sugars and sulfites.
Translated in the glass: fewer concessions to easy sweetness, more precision on the fruit, natural sparkling character, more balance. A Bonarda that goes back to being Table wine in the original sense, not occasional drink.
Verified quality, not just stated
It is not enough to join the project. The wines are also verified by a outdoor laboratory, the B.LAB in Alba, with analysis and tasting. It is a step that reinforces the credibility of the initiative: the rules are not declarative, but applied, to prove that that Bonarda really corresponds to the organoleptic canon set by producers.
A choral narrative for an identity wine
#lamossaperfetta also lives online, including videos and fact sheets from the manufacturers. To tell about the project, the faces, the companies, the different interpretations of Bonarda. The logic is clear: Show the differences without losing the common thread. Each company tells its own Bonarda, but within a recognizable identity.
This is where #lamossaperfetta really works: as a reading key, not as a slogan.
The symbolic bottle as a synthesis
Only at the end comes the symbolic bottle. It serves to make the shared vision concrete: a round, fruit-centered Bonarda with measured structure and gastronomic vocation.
Not for sale and does not bear the name of a winery. It bears that of the #lamossaperfetta project, precisely because it functions as a symbol of the message the producers want to convey.
We tasted it: the wine in the goblet consistently responds to the producers’ idea: an extremely pleasant and typical Frizzante Bonarda, with explosive fruit, mouthwatering on the palate titillated by the light carbonicity, with a slight rusticity that characterizes its authenticity. At the same time an ancient and extremely modern wine.
