On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the small and enchanting villages and hills of the Langhe will be the setting for the 16th annual Treasure Hunt in the Langhe.

Now in its 16th year, the initiative is aimed at all those who wish to spend a day in the company of others while discovering-with game trials, guided tours and food and wine tastings-the most beautiful stretches of the Langhe.

Among the stops, in addition to the wineries that will join the initiative, the pavilions of Vinum, scheduled for the last week of April and the first week of May 2025, and the cultural heritage of the city and the Langa region will be favored.

The adventure will begin in Alba, and the game itineraries will wind through our UNESCO World Heritage area, among the hills combed by the vineyards of the Barbaresco and Barolo Langa, to the forests, hazelnut groves and picturesque landscapes of theAlta Langa.

You will visit historic wineries, castles, museums and small villages overlooking excitingly beautiful landscapes, accompanied by a web-app where you can consult the different game trials and clues that will lead you to the end of the search. The hunting route should be traveled by car or motorcycle, allowing you to visit a wide slice of the territory.

The Treasure Hunt will not be a timed competition! The most important treasure will be to have discovered part of a unique territory in the world.

What’s New – The Treasure Hunt in the Coach

Do you want to enjoy the experience without worries? This year, for the first time it will be possible to take a coach itinerary, in cooperation with the tour operator Love Langhe Tour!

Love Langhe Tour’s “Treasure Hunt” package includes coach travel, departing and arriving from Turin, the Treasure Hunt and lunch at one of the villages in the Alta Langa.

We support “Oasis of the Terraces”

This year the Treasure Hunt in the Langhe will support the Langa Silvatica – I Want To Be Tree Odv project, an association founded with the aim of guarding and preserving the forest heritage and, more generally, all the uncultivated areas of high environmental interest in the Langa and Alta Langa. Part of the proceeds obtained from the initiative will in fact be donated to Langa Silvatica to finance the “Oasi delle Terrazze” project, with the aim of purchasing and protecting a 4-hectare forest in Lequio Berria (CN).

Crews may consist of a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5 people. Registration required by Friday, April 25, 2025.

Meet about 9 a.m. in Alba (CN) where crews will receive their game kits. All participants will be notified of the exact time and location to report to via e-mail a few days before the event.

Once the accreditation is complete, you can start with the adventure. Visits in the 5 stages of the day will follow precise schedules, which will be communicated as you progress through the game. From the second stage onward, you will move independently on the roads of the Langhe.

Each crew will have to consult the evidence through a specially made web app. At the stages, there will be guided tours and tastings. Only once the visit is over will it be possible to answer the quizzes and get the clue to reach the next destination. At each stage you will get the clue to reach the next one. It will be necessary to earn it, either by passing a theoretical or practical test related to the place, or by searching around for it.

The last leg will be a surprise and will not be the same as the start, so we recommend using your own car or motorcycle for travel between legs.
