Perched at the highest point of the Barolo appellation, nestled among the Serradenari vineyards with views stretching all the way to Monviso, Antica Dimora Dosio offers an authentic hospitality experience in the Langhe. A charming boutique hotel nestled next to the Dosio winery, where your stay becomes a journey through grand cru vineyards, UNESCO-listed landscapes, and wines that tell the story of the region.
Barolo as seen from above

There are places in the Langhe that seem made for wine. Antica Dimora Dosio, in La Morra, is one of them. Here, on the hill of Serradenari, the highest point in the entire Barolo appellation, the landscape unfolds like a natural amphitheater: orderly rows of vines, rolling hills stretching to the horizon, and, on clear days, the silhouette of Mount Monviso and the Alps serving as a backdrop.
The Agri-Wine Resort was established as a natural extension of the Dosio winery and offers a chance to experience the Langhe without separating the living room from the wine-tasting experience. From the vineyards surrounding the estate, visitors move directly to the cellar and the tastings of the estate’s wines. On a journey that highlights the region and its most famous crus.
A story of family and homecomings

Dosio’s recent history is linked to the Lanci family. In 2010, Gianfranco Lanci, an engineer from Piedmont with a long international career in the technology sector. Buy the winery founded in 1974 by Beppe Dosio. This decision stems from a genuine passion for wine and a desire to return to one’s roots.
After his death in 2023, leadership passed to his daughter Chiara, who left Milan and the world of communications to devote himself entirely to the company. Under his leadership, Dosio continues to build on the project his father started, focusing on promoting the crus, sustainability, and a hospitality experience deeply rooted in wine.
Seven rooms nestled among the vineyards

Antica Dimora Dosio is an intimate property with just seven rooms and suites spread over two floors. Each room is uniquely decorated with touches of nature’s and earth’s colors, warm materials, custom-made furnishings, and a fireplace that helps create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
The rooms overlook the vineyards or the mountains, and many are particularly spacious. The Vinaccia and Nebbia suites are designed for those seeking a more exclusive stay, while the panoramic pool is one of the most spectacular features of the property, overlooking the Barolo hills.
Guests are immediately struck by the exceptional location, the spotless cleanliness, the comfort of the rooms, and the warm hospitality.
Serradenari, the cru that defies altitude
Wine remains at the heart of the experience. The estate’s 14 hectares of vineyards include some of the most interesting vineyards in the Langhe: Serradenari and Fossati for the Barolo, Bussia in Monforte d’Alba, Montersino in Barbaresco and Meriame’s recent arrival in Serralunga d’Alba. The flagship wine is the Barolo Serradenari, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in one of the highest-altitude MGA areas in the entire appellation.
Production follows a approach that respects the local area. The winery employs environmentally friendly farming practices. In the cellar, the philosophy is one of minimal intervention, with the aim of highlighting the unique character of each vineyard.
Experiences combining food tastings and scenic views

Staying at Antica Dimora Dosio means an immersive wine experience. The guided tours wind through the vineyards surrounding the estate, continue into the cellar, and conclude with tastings of the winery’s most iconic wines.
In addition to traditional wine tours, we offer outdoor experiences. Picnics among the vineyards, routes designed for cycling enthusiasts, and activities that allow you to experience the Langhe landscape. In an authentic way.
The real strength of the Dimora, however, is the balance between hospitality and wine. You don’t feel like you’re staying at a simple inn with a view of the vineyards. But rather at a winery that has chosen to open its doors to guests. And that is probably why, once you arrive at Serradenari, you immediately realize that here, Barolo is not just a wine. It is the way the region tells its story.
