From Monferrato to the Langhe, an itinerary between wine, land art and signature hospitality is the Chiarlo Experience.
La Chiarlo Experience is not just a visit to the winery or a stay among the vines. It is a cultural project in the round, designed for those who wish to approach wine through an experience comprehensive. It also involves art, the landscape e hospitality. Underlying the project, designed by Michael Chiarlo and today developed by Stephen, Alberto and by the new generation Of the family. There is a vision precise, where wine is not just a product, but a language capable of narrating the territory in all its dimensions – landscape, history and culture – creating a true ecosystem cultural.
“Wine is one of the forms by which a territory takes voice. It is memory and story together, an expression of the material and symbolic culture of a place. Michele Chiarlo sensed this before many. His gaze has never been limited to production, but has always sought a broader dialogue with the land, with art, with beauty.” explains Stefano Chiarlo.
The three locations of the Chiarlo Experience
For this reason, the Chiarlo Experience is divided into three distinct locations but interconnected, designed to return this vision, developing between the Langhe and Monferrato. Territories that represent the very soul of the winery’s production, to offer visitors an immersive narrative of the Piedmont of wine. L’Art Park La Court and the Cannubi Path represent the artistic artistic of the project; hospitality takes shape at the Palás Cerequio, which houses the restaurant La Corte and the Sky Bar. These are complemented by a programming cultural which includes exhibitions, events e initiatives literary.
“The Chiarlo Experience is our way of looking at and sharing the world, born from a desire to put wine at the center of a deeper and broader experience. The goal is to offer visitors a welcoming model that combines quality, identity and sustainability. By promoting an active and participatory enjoyment of the landscape.” tells Alberto Chiarlo.
The places of the Chiarlo Experience: Art Park La Court

In the heart of Monferrato, among the hills of Castelnuovo Calcea, comes to life the Art Park La Court. A unique place where art and viticulture meet in a dialogue continuous. Opened in the 2003 by an insight visionary by Michele Chiarlo, was born from the desire to give back to the landscape a role active. Not as a mere background but as the protagonist of an experience immersive and participatory, where art becomes a bridge between those who cultivate, who notes and who walk Among the vines.
Along a route through the rows of the cru La Court, the visitor is invited to discover installations permanent inspired by the four elements. Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Signed by internationally renowned artists such as. Emanuele Luzzati, Ugo Nespolo, Chris Bangle e Giancarlo Ferraris. The works emerge naturally from the landscape, transforming each stage into a moment of discovery, reflection e amazement.
“Art Park La Court stands in the heart of the cru of the historic high vocation terroir area from which our best Nice and Nice Reserve. – tells Stephen Chiarlo. – It is the most extensive open-air museum in the vineyard. It is a continuously updated monument where art, landscape and wine dialogue uninterruptedly, offering visitors one of the most unique land art experiences in the wine scene. It is a living cultural center based on the sharing of beauty. Open to the territory and the world, through its association – O.R.M.E. – it promotes and supports initiatives every year that invite people to walk among the vineyards and enjoy the magic of the landscape and art living in symbiosis.” .
Palas Cerequio, the cultural hub dedicated to Barolo crus

A amphitheater natural among the vineyards of La Morra, one of the most prestigious cru of the appellation. It is here, in the heart of the Langa, which stands Palás Cerequio. Not just a relais, but a hospitality center as a tribute to the Barolo culture, a meeting point between wine identity, hospitality and the pleasure of inhabiting wine with awareness. Born from the recovery of an 18th-century hamlet, today it is a reference point for experiential hospitality.
Le eleven suites, divided between “Past” and “Future,” welcome the guest in environments inspired by history or by design contemporary, with an eye always on wine culture. At the center of the facility, the Caveau holds more than 6,000 bottles of Barolo, while the tasting room hosts guided tours with horizontal and vertical tastings of old vintages.
Completing the food and wine experience are the Sky Bar overlooking the vineyards, perfect for panoramic aperitifs, and the La Corte restaurant, led by chef Vincenzo La Corte, who offers essential cuisine. Few processes, few ingredients of excellence, careful preparations. On the menu are dishes dedicated to the Langhe-authentic and classic in the noblest sense of the term-and a few fish dishes that draw on international cuisine and special cuts.

Alongside the wine, art is another key element of Palás Cerequio’s identity. Giancarlo Ferraris, artist and author of Michele Chiarlo’s most famous labels, has created a series of works dedicated to the great crus of Barolo that adorn the walls of the facility. The latest cultural addition was added in 2024 with the birth of the Palás Cerequio Bookstore, a space that celebrates great Piedmontese and international literature, with sections devoted to authors such as Pavese, Fenoglio, Eco and Baricco, as well as giants of world fiction.
Cannubi Path, walking a cru, experiencing a landscape

In Barolo, among the most vocated plots of Cannubi, at the end of 2024 was born Cannubi Path. An exclusive itinerary among the rows of Piedmont’s most iconic cru, dedicated to Michele Chiarlo. An experience designed to rediscover the value of walking and slow time, in a journey that interweaves agronomic storytelling, observation of vineyard work and field tasting.
Cannubi Path is not just a walk among the vineyards. It is a artistic and cultural route inspired by the La Court Art Park. Visitors, through installations between the rows and in the ciabot made by Ugo Nespolo, can immerse themselves in the essence of the landscape and the passion of those who cultivate it. This project celebrates the wine-growing history of the area and its cultural value, consolidating the link between Nespolo’s art and Michele Chiarlo’s winemaking tradition.
