100% Chardonnay, aged partly in wood. Classic method, 3 years on the lees. Straw yellow, fine perlage. Gunpowder notes emerge on the nose, taut and vertical, with green citrus making everything three-dimensional. Palate first soft with ripe sweet notes, then gives way to pleasant acidic sensations. Raspberry, green apricot finish. Impactful on the palate, not for everyone, but excites quite a bit.
