100% Sangiovese. Subtle and somewhat edgy version due to a fresh vintage. Bright garnet color and aromas initially just balsamic, then with hints developing toward citrus notes, with hints of licorice. “Pointy” flavor with a somewhat split acidity component, barely noticeable tannins, and thin, agile body. Closes with good persistence.
