The Ferraro family has become a benchmark in terms of Asolo Prosecco and, for certain, Col Fondo wines. Their vineyards in Monfumo, on Montello, are spectacular, not only for the dizzying slopes, the views of the Colli Asolani, and the stratified marls that make up the soils. But above all for the age, said to be a hundred years old, of the vines that still produce grapes, and for the variety of grape varieties that populate them: in addition to Glera, ancient grapes such as Verdiso, Perera, and Bianchetta. Independent producers, they strongly believe in the value of controlling the entire supply chain and defend the crown cork for bottle-fermented wines.
