Convivium Renaissance 2026

Convivium Renaissance 2026 – Rome becomes the capital of biodynamic wine on Jan. 19
On Monday, January 19, 2026 Rome hosts Convivium Renaissance, an international event dedicated to biodynamic viticulture and organized by Renaissance des Appellations – Italy.
Scheduled from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Garum – Museum of Cuisine, in the picturesque area of the Circus Maximus, this event represents one of the most important moments of the year for wine professionals who believe in natural agriculture, respectful of the land and capable of expressing terroir in an authentic way.
The event is designed as a professional meeting that encourages the exchange of ideas, experiences and visions between international winemakers and HoReCa and wine industry professionals.
In fact, about 60 winemakers from different parts of the world will be present, each with their benchmark biodynamic wines. Among the expected names are well-established realities in the natural scene, such as Emidio Pepe, Ampeleia, Foradori and Movia, along with prominent international producers.
The heart of the day is the walk-around tasting at Garum, where accredited operators can taste the wines present, engage directly with the producers and learn more about the techniques and working philosophies that characterize biodynamic wines. The word Convivium, from the Latin convivere (“to live together”), sums up precisely the spirit of the meeting: an opportunity to meet, taste, compare and build professional relationships based on shared values.
Renaissance des Appellations
Convivium Renaissance was born from the vision of Renaissance des Appellations, an association founded by European biodynamic viticulture pioneer Nicolas Joly, which brings together winemakers from around the world committed to strict and sustainable agricultural practices. The goal is clear: wine must be a sincere expression of the place from which it comes, without shortcuts or invasive interventions, but with deep attention to the soil, climate and rhythms of nature.
