Greve in Chianti – Chianti Classico Expo 2026

Chianti Classico Expo 2026: From September 10 to 13, 2026, the 54th edition returns to Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Gallo Nero region.

The 2026 edition is the 54th and features 64 wineries from various municipalities within the Chianti Classico region.

The event offers a unique opportunity to discover Chianti Classico right in its region of origin and brings together producers from the various municipalities of the Chianti Classico region in Piazza Matteotti. The goal is to showcase, through wine, the unity and richness of this historic region, bringing visitors into direct contact with the winemakers and their stories.

Founded in the 1970s as a trade fair, and later transformed into a festival and expo, the event is now one of the most important opportunities to explore the world of Chianti Classico.

During the four days of the Expo, Greve in Chianti hosts a varied program of tastings, events, cultural activities, music, performances, crafts, gastronomy, and excursions, offering visitors the opportunity to discover not only the wines but also the landscape and traditions of the region.

The program

• Wine Tastings: In 2026, 64 wineries from across the Chianti Classico region will be present in Piazza Matteotti. Tasting hours:
  • • Thursday, September 10, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    • Friday, September 11, 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, September 12, 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, September 13, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
