Verona – Vinitaly 2026

Vinitaly 2026 boosts offer and strengthens B2B matching, incoming profiled from 70 nations. New formats for No-Lo and Spirits, Vinitaly Tourism is consolidated. Vinitaly Tasting The DoctorWine Selection, the exhibition area in collaboration with DoctorWine, returns again this year.

Vinitaly 2026 further expands its offerings to new market segments- Invests on content and format, invests and further accelerates on the incoming plan profiled by more than 70 target countries. In collaboration with ITA-Italian Trade Agency, and strengthens the structural dialogue with catering and territories to increase the role of wine tourism.

These are the main lines of action of the 58th edition of the only international event entirely dedicated to Italian wine, scheduled at Veronafiere April 12-15.

“Vinitaly is not only an international fair, it is the global platform of Italian wine that interprets the evolution of the sector. In a complex context such as the current one”. Says Veronafiere president Federico Bricolo. “We are working to exceed the more than 18,500 b2b meetings organized during the days of the event in 2025 and constantly strengthen our proposal, updating it to companies’ expectations and trends. At Vinitaly, companies, buyers and institutions converge in the only appointment that completely represents our offer. A real strength that distinguishes us also at the international level.”

The Vinitaly 2026 edition

  • Among the main novelties of the next edition is the development of NoLo – Vinitaly Experience in partnership with Unione italiana vini. After last year’s pilot project, No-Low Alcohol content will have a dedicated exhibition area at Vinitaly 2026.
  • Xcellent Spirits also gets a makeover, with the debut of an entire pavilion designed to foster a global connection between the wine and spirits supply chains. Part of a multi-year development plan, the new hall is being built in partnership with Gang of Spirits.
  • Wine tourism becomes an integral part of the event with Vinitaly Tourism being consolidated, even at the exhibition level. Rich daily calendar of appointments including conferences, talks, research and best practices. Also completing Vinitaly Tourism’s offer are the incoming experience packages tailored to European buyers.
  • Vinitaly Plus, the online platform that connects producers, buyers, and consumers year-round, is back, and in 2025 it totaled 412 thousand views and presented a library of more than 19 thousand wines from 4,000 companies. Starting this year, exhibiting wineries will have the opportunity to contact buyers directly to set their agenda at the fair without waiting for an official invitation from interested operators.
  • The Vinitaly Design Award, Veronafiere’s competition that evaluates 21 categories of packaging applied to products in the wine, spirits, beer and extra-virgin olive oil supply chain, is reconfirmed (awards ceremony April 11 at Teatro Ristori, Verona).
  • On the exhibition layout front, then, Vinitaly 2026 records some improvements. Umbria. In fact, will be presented in a new, strongly identifiable regional exhibition space in Hall D, while Hall 2 recomposes all of Sicily’s offerings.

Vinitaly spin-offs at the fair

Confirmed, among others, are the collaboration with DoctorWine in the Vinitaly Tasting – The DoctorWine Selection. The super tasting signed Raw Wine, the world’s largest network of natural, low-intervention, organic and biodynamic wines. Vinitaly Bio, Amphora Revolution areas in collaboration with Merano WineFestival and The WineHunter, Xcellent Beers, Micro Mega Wines and Enolitech, the international exhibition dedicated to design equipment, products and technologies for wine and beer production.

Since the beginning of the collaboration, Vinitaly has entrusted DoctorWine, and its founder Daniele Cernilli, with a thematic space to present a targeted selection of Italian wines. This appointment has become a real point of reference within the fair for professional operators.

The formula is now well established:

Outside Vinitaly

The prologue to the event is, as always, entrusted to Vinitaly Opera Wine (Mercatali Galleries, Saturday, April 11). With the 150 wineries selected by Wine Spectator, falling into the three new categories devised by the U.S. magazine: “Legacy Icon,” “Classic,” and a third category reserved for 2026 “New Voices.”

For winelovers and the enocurious, Vinitaly and the City returns (Verona, Friday evening, April 10, Saturday evening, April 11 and Sunday, April 12). The pop off-show in the heart of the city that this year, in collaboration with the Valpolicella Wine Trail, opens up to wine tourism. In fact, with the purchase of a tasting booklet, wine lovers will receive an Experience Token, which can be used from April 13 until May 3 for a visit with tasting at the 12 wineries participating to date. The goal is to replicate the initiative to other territories as well. And also for the public, kicking off Vinitaly & the Night, party nights scheduled at the Mercatali Galleries (April 11,12 and 14).
