Grimaldi Enoica Co-Wine Festival 2026: the event dedicated to Calabrian wine and winemaking identity returns to the village of Savuto on September 5th

On September 5, 2026, the Grimaldi Enoica Co-Wine Festival returns to Grimaldi, in the heart of Savuto. The event was created with the aim of sharing and enhancing Calabria’s winemaking identity through a shared experience.

The first edition, in 2025, introduced an original format that aims to move beyond the traditional division into individual company booths and instead build a collective narrative around Calabrian wine. The tastings are led by professional sommeliers, who are tasked with presenting and describing the wines of the participating producers. This creates a true “wine salon” in the village.

The project was therefore conceived not only as an opportunity for wine tasting, but also as a forum for discussion and education, bringing together producers, sommeliers, journalists, food and wine communication professionals, enthusiasts, and wine lovers. Talks, seminars, meetings, and tastings are designed to connect wine with the history, culture, and future prospects of the Calabrian region.

The setting is Grimaldi, a small village in the province of Cosenza located within the Savuto region—an area deeply rooted in viticulture and the Savuto DOC. The festival thus uses the village itself as a narrative space, bringing wine to its narrow streets, squares, and historic sites, and transforming the event into an opportunity to promote the region.

• Luca Grippo, sommelier, journalist, and wine blogger;
• Angelo Peretti, writer, journalist, and editor-in-chief of Internet Gourmet
• Chiara Giannotti, sommelier and director of Vino.tv, a leading voice in contemporary wine communication
• Paola Restelli, wine specialist and brand ambassador, as well as the person responsible for the conception, production, and hosting of major food and wine events.
