ViniVeri 2025: the first 2025 Wine According to Nature event starts in Assisi
ViniVeri Assisi 2025, is a wine tasting event featuring hundreds of natural wine labels. Starring winemakers who place territory, respect for the environment and identity at the center through artisanal, sustainable and eco-friendly production.
Organized by the Viniveri Consortium, the event aims to promote viticulture that respects natural cycles, avoiding artificial acceleration and stabilization. The participating winemakers abide by precise rules that exclude chemical herbicides, fertilizers and genetically modified vines. In the winery, they use indigenous yeasts and practice natural grape drying.
The event, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Valle di Assisi Hotel in Santa Maria degli Angeli (PG), is dedicated to industry insiders, wine merchants, restaurateurs, sommeliers, wine enthusiasts and those curious about natural wine. Hundreds of labels will be on tasting. It is therefore an important opportunity to explore and celebrate the authenticity and craftsmanship of wine products from different regions of Italy and Europe.
Just to enhance the deep connection with the territory, again this year on Sunday, January 12, “Dinners with ViniVeri Winemakers” will take place in many towns and villages of green Umbria. This is a mouth-watering prologue where ViniVeri producers meet and dialogue with the cuisine and dishes of some of the most representative regional restaurants. Fifteen restaurants will be involved, each hosting different ViniVeri Consortium winemakers for an evening of stories, fusions of experiences, and surprises.
The event is also an opportunity to preview what’s new at the next edition of ViniVeri 2025, Italy’s longest-running event for wines and food products made by natural processes, now in its 21st year, scheduled for April 2025.
