Wine and Food Academy 2025/2026: a journey through taste, culture and solidarity

The Wine and Food Academy APS presents the fall-winter 2025/2026 season, a journey of nine food and wine events designed to enhance the culture of Italian wine and food through tasting experiences, meetings, insights and moments of conviviality.

The events, scheduled between Parma, Reggio Emilia, Bologna, Bolzano and Soriano Calabro, offer a journey that combines tradition and innovation, with a focus on dialogue between territories and the discovery of authentic productions.

But the festival is not only a tribute to taste: each stage also takes on a solidarity value. In fact, part of the proceeds from each event will be donated to the“Friends of Father Paolino” Association to complete the school in Kakoni, Uganda, and other educational and health facilities started by Comboni missionary Father Paolino Tomaino, who passed away in 2024 after more than 50 years of work in Africa.

A concrete commitment that transforms every meeting of the Wine and Food Academy into an experience of taste, culture and responsibility, where conviviality becomes a means of building the future.
The project enjoys the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Parma and the Municipality of San Giorgio di Piano, and is part of the initiatives in support of the candidacy of Italian Cuisine as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Key collaborations include Rotary FRACH Team Italy 4 – Bologna North “Giulietta Masina” Delegation, FenImprese Bologna and numerous national food and wine excellence.

Welcome Autumn – Sunday, October 19, 2025, San Giorgio di Piano (BO)

The Wine and Food Academy’s 2025/2026 season kicks off with “Welcome Autumn,” an event that combines the pleasure of good food with solidarity. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, at Casale La Misericordia 1850 in San Giorgio di Piano (BO), in collaboration with Rotary FRACH Team Italy 4 – Bologna North “Giulietta Masina” Delegation.

The day will feature the most authentic Emilian cuisine, with a menu signed by chef Stefano Boselli, who will propose the famous spaghetti alla Bolognese accompanied by other local specialties and wines from the Fezzigna Winery in Umbriatico (KR).
A moment of conviviality that is also a concrete gesture of support: the entire proceeds, net of operating expenses, will be donated to the project “A Future for Father Paolino’s Schools,” contributing to the construction of school facilities in Uganda.

The event officially opens the new season, reaffirming the association’s philosophy: to promote Italian food and wine culture as a vehicle for solidarity, knowledge and encounter.
