100% Sangiovese, aged in 30 hl wood. Fairly light ruby with bright highlights. Particularly ethereal, balsamic, varied nose of star anise, chamomile, crunchy red fruit and spices. Mouth of impressive progression, sumptuous, refined, elegant, with hints of cinchona, medicinal herbs and Mediterranean scrub. Of incredible persistence and goodness. It is still a long time away from release and will have to be tasted again in due course. If it delivers on all its promises….
