Enrico Serafino 1878, a historic Piedmontese company part of Krause Group Italy since 2015, opens its lounge inside Parma’s Ennio Tardini stadium.
The company Parma Calcio 1913 is also part of the Krause Group, starting in 2020. Closing the circle, in addition to Enrico Serafino 1878, the company’s Vietti, another Piedmontese excellence, and House of Langa, a luxury resort in the heart of the Unesco heritage site.
Excellence and Italianness are the values on which Kyle Krause has built Krause Group Italy, focusing on areas that represent the country in the world: sports (such as soccer), wine and hospitality.
Ennio Tardini Stadium and Parma Calcio

Inside the stadium, the history of Parma Calcio 1913 is celebrated in the museum, which traces the club’s birth, evolution, successes and difficult moments. On display are cups, historical jerseys and profiles of the most representative players, along with curiosities capable of engaging even those who are not soccer fans like me.
The stadium, a stone’s throw from the city center, is modest in shape and size, but it lacks nothing. The fans of the VIP grandstand have access to the Enrico Serafino lounge, where quality wines and products are served in the pre-game and during halftime. On tap especially Gavi and Alta Langa in the more straightforward to drink versions, such as Oudeis white and rosé, snappy and pleasant, where Pinot Noir is the protagonist, modulated by Chardonnay.
On special occasions, or during event dinners also organized in the museum, more structured wines are offered such as Barolo and Alta Langa Riserva, including the Zero and Zero 140 Giove.
Enrico Serafino

Enrico Serafino was established in 1878 by the founder of the same name. After the acquisition, Krause invested in 3.5 hectares in the MGA in Serralunga d’Alba, among others. Among the production highlights are the Barolo, in the different mentions, and the Gavi of the town of Gavi, offered in three versions. Also central is Alta Langa, the wine with which I personally best identify the winery. Classic method governed by one of the most rigorous and detailed specifications in Italy.
Provides at least 30 months on the lees (36 for the Riserva) from vineyards located over 250 meters between the provinces of Cuneo, Alessandria and Asti, using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in blanc de blancs, blanc de noirs, cuvée and rosé versions, always vintage.
Alta Langa

Paolo Giacosa, winemaker, He is not exactly a stage man. But I was lucky enough to cross paths with him right in the cellar, among the stacks of wine resting on the lees. There Paul is definitely in his own realm, and having a word with him about wine is always a rewarding and instructive experience.
The Pinot Noir is the protagonist, a prima donna who must be handled. Three, winemaker’s word, are the ways to indulge her whims: long aging on the lees – in the Alta Langa Enrico Serafino at least 40 months -, slightly more generous dosages (between 4 and 6 g/l) or the flanking of a worthy co-actor such as the Chardonnay.
In Enrico Serafino you do all this depending on the label you want to make.
Hospitality and winery events

Hospitality and tasting activities are taken care of by a young but already experienced team, with Francesca Risso and Tommaso Bellisola under the supervision of Giulia Bettagno, Head of Wine Krause Group.
“For us – commented Bettagno. – the Lounge represents a unique opportunity to bring the world of wine to life in a new and dynamic context. Every detail is designed to convey the passion and care we put into our wineries, offering guests an authentic and engaging experience.”
